It’s Girl Scout Cookie Season Again!
I know some of you look forward to buying Girl Scout Cookies. I am selling them for anyone who would like them. You could order from me directly at church or you could scan the QR code with your phone camera which will take you straight to my website. Donations to the troops and hometown heroes are always appreciated. If you can’t eat them, you can treat them! – Thank you, Zoe
Community Supported Agriculture
A CSA is a way for individuals and families to get fresh, locally grown, organic produce and support local farmers at the same time. Participants will get a box of fresh produce every week during the growing season (mid-June to October). The produce varies every week depending on what is ready to be harvested. The cost to purchase a "share" which provides 20 weeks of fresh produce is $660. Participants are expected to pick up their produce on the day it is delivered to the church. If you are unable to pick up your produce on any given week you are welcomed to have someone pick it up for you, or you may opt to have your share donated that week. Anyone wishing to purchase a share or have questions may contact Pam Heywood at 516-808-8202. To contact Natural Earth Organic Farms about their CSA Program and their farm in Calverton, please visit their website www.naturalearthorganicfarms.com.
