New Website
The Church of the Ascension has updated its website. The new website has the same address as before: www.ascensionrvc.org, but with a slightly new look and updated information. The weekly newsletter will be taking on this slightly new format as well and will be linked directly to the website.
Tuesday Club
The Tuesday Club will reconvene on September 12 th when we will start studying “The Path” which is an abbreviated version of the Bible.
Copies are available for $20.
Playing on the Porch
On Saturday, September 9 th , the Village of Rockville Centre will be having a “Playing on the Porch” evening, with local musicians coming out to sing and play all over the village. This year the Church of the Ascension Choir will be participating from 3-3:30ish right on our own front steps. Come hear them sing some of your favorites!
Regular Schedule
Our regular Sunday schedule of two masses at 8 and 10:30 resumes on Sunday, September 10 th .
Sunday School will also resume that morning at 10:15. Join us at the rectory at 3pm for a welcome back potluck BBQ, this year being held jointly with the folks of St. Alban the Martyr. Bring a lawn chair (if you have one) and a dish of your choice.
The Shop News
