Please read carefully! There are lots of important announcements this week about life at Ascension.
Parking Lot Closed
Due to dumpster delivery and tent setup, the majority of the parking lot will be closed all week long. Absolutely no commuter parking this week. The available parking spots must be reserved for residents, employees, and people making drop-offs and deliveries. Parking permits are available for all workers helping with set up or working the fair itself. Please see Judi Broadhurst for a parking permit.
Raffle Baskets Due
Raffle baskets are due this Sunday (Oct. 12) with a list of contents attached. It takes time and effort to arrange the baskets and ticket bins, so please get your baskets in on time and don’t drop them off at the last minute.
Fair Set Up Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 9am
We need us much help as possible THIS Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 9am. Wednesday will be a tent and table set up day, so strong helpers are especially welcomed. Thursday is the final fair set up day, when everything must be unboxed and priced. Please come and give us any time you can!
Cookies and Baked Goods Due Wednesday by 7pm
Attention bakers! Your cookies and baked goods should be delivered to the parish hall by 7pm on Wednesday the 15th. Bakers are invited to stay and help package the cookies at 7pm.
No More Donations
Donations can no longer be accepted for any departments.
Silent Auction Live on Tuesday
The Silent Auction website goes live on Tuesday. You may begin placing your bets then!
Friday - Fair Opening Day
The fair opens at 10am on Friday. There is absolutely no early entry for shoppers (non-workers). The gate will be opened at 10am. Fair workers are asked to gather in the parish hall for the opening prayer at 9:30am. Name tags may be received from your department head.
Friday - Extended Hours
Just a reminder, for the first time the hours on Friday have been extended to 7pm! Saturday will end at 5pm.
Saturday - Regular Hours, No Dinner
Just a reminder that the Fair will be open from 10pm to 5pm on Saturday. Children’s activities will take place on Saturday only. There will be a special booth on Saturday only from 1pm - 4pm featuring custom silhouettes. There is no Saturday night dinner being served. Workers are asked to stay until 6pm to assist with packing and cleaning.

Please visit https://ff25.givesmart.com to securely register for the 2025 Friendship Fair. Once registered, you can purchase raffle and Parishioner Brunch tickets as well as skip the line when you arrive at the Fair. Also, if you add a credit card to your registration you'll be able to shop seamlessly throughout the event.
Next Sunday One Mass, Parishioner Brunch
On Sunday, Oct 19th there will be ONE 9:30 am Mass. Afterwards we will have a parishioner boxed brunch. The Brunch is for all Ascension Parishioners, Family & Friends who helped make this year’s Friendship Fair possible. Please go to https://ff25.givesmart.com and click on the "ITEMS" in the upper left corner. Please make your purchase by Monday, October 13. Raffles will be pulled during brunch.
Parishioners are encouraged to come dressed comfortably and to assist us with dismantling the fair after brunch.
