Tuesday Club

The Tuesday Club will return in Advent. Our next gathering will be on Tuesday, December 2nd, at 11am.

Carols & Cookies

We will once again be doing a Carols & Cookies service for the Feast of Saint Nicholas. The celebration will be Sunday, December 7th, at 4pm. Flyers are available to invite your neighbors and friends. Bakers are needed! We need bakers to volunteer to make cookies for the event. Please let Fr. Kevin know if you are willing to bake cookies.

Donations for Pink Roses – Due December 7th

December 14th is Gaudete (Rose) Sunday. We are looking for six parishioners who would be interested in giving a memorial donation in the amount of $55 to defray the cost of the pink roses that will adorn the High Altar, Advent wreath and small vase in the chapel that day. If you are interested in donating, please give your donation to Margaret in the church office or mail before December 8th. You may use the Christmas flower form but please write ‘Roses”  on the top of the form.  Please include how you would like the memorial to read in the bulletin.

Children's Christmas Pageant

This year we will have our annual Christmas Pageant during the 10:30am service on Sunday, December 21st .  If you wish to participate, please speak with Kristin Ochtera.

Christmas Memorial Flowers

Flower memorial gifts for Christmas are being accepted now through Sunday, December 14th . Please make sure your donation is clearly marked “Christmas Flowers” and please be sure to clearly list the names of the individuals you would like remembered. Envelopes and/or forms are available in the back of the church and in the Parish Hall. They may also be used for the Roses by indicating ‘ Roses’ on both the envelope and the form.  Please return them to the Parish Office or leave them in the Parish Office mailbox  outside of Fr. Kevin’s office or give them to Margaret Bianchi.

Toy Drive

This year we are collecting toys for the John Theissen Children’s Foundation. To learn more about this foundation that provides toys for sick and underpriviledged children, check out this website and video: John Theissen Children’s Foundation. We are collecting new unwrapped toys for children from infant to age 17.  Please start bringing in your donations on November 30th.  For more information, please see Judi Broadhurst or email her at: idigmick@aol.com.

Engraved Brick Campaign UPDATE

Thank you to everyone who has so far pledged or contributed to our Ascension Today & Tomorrow capital campaign. As mentioned in prior bulletins, an engraved brick campaign is underway to recognize those donors who have contributed to this important project for our church's future, and to date we have received many brick dedication order forms. We will continue to take order forms through the end of the year, and anticipate installation of the new brick walkway in Spring of 2026. If you still have not submitted your form, blank forms are located in the parish hall. As always, if you have any questions, please call Peter Carbonaro at 516-712-9023.
