The Third Sunday after the Epiphany

Important Update! The weather service is still predicting severe weather for Sunday morning, January 25. Snow is forecast to accumulate between 10-14 inches in our region, followed by ice. Conditions are predicted to be at their worst at approximately the time most people would be attempting to travel to church. For this reason and for the safety of all we have made the difficult decision to cancel in-person services tomorrow morning. It is quite simply not feasible or safe given the weather forecast.

There will, however, be an online Zoom Morning Prayer offered at 9:30am for all those who wish to join from home. Please see the link below and the bulletin for tomorrow’s service.

Tuesday Club

The Tuesday Club will be meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 27th.

 Annual Meeting Notice

The next annual meeting of the Church of the Ascension in Rockville Centre will take place on Sunday, February 1st. There will be one mass that Sunday at 9:30am, followed by the Annual Meeting at approximately 10:30 am. We will be electing one warden and four vestry persons at this election. Ascension Memorials Book

A draft copy of a book cataloging Ascension memorials through the years has been on display in the Parish Hall. Anyone wishing to make additions or corrections to the book should contact Bill Cooper by February 1 st . After that date the book will be printed and bound.
