Notice of Annual Meeting:

The annual meeting of The Church of the Ascension will take place on Sunday, February 4 th , 2024 at 10:30am. There will be ONLY ONE MASS that weekend at 9:30am. All members are encouraged to attend. To be considered a member in good standing, and therefore eligible to vote, one must have received communion in this parish at least three times in the previous year and must have made a recorded financial contribution in the past year.

Annual Meeting Committee Reports

A reminder to the chairs of all parish committees and organizations: Please submit to the Parish Office your 2023 committee reports by Sunday, January 21 st for inclusion in the Annual Meeting Booklet.

January Book Discussion

On January 14 at 9am we will begin discussing The Book of Common Prayer: A Biography by Alan Jacobs. This book is an excellent overview of the book that is not only a foundational part of our worship life as Anglicans, but also one of the most important books in the English language.

Shrove Tuesday February 13 th

Please join us for a Pancake Supper and family fellowship on Shrove Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 6 o’clock pm. Cost for the event is $10/person or $35 for a family of 4 or more. A sign-up sheet for attendees and volunteers will be in the parish hall. No Sunday School 1/14

There will be no Sunday School or Childcare on Sunday, January 14 th . Sunday School will resume on Sunday, January 21 st .

The Christmas poinsettias have been moved to the stage. If you would like to take one home, please do so.
